The root canals are thoroughly cleaned, shaped, and disinfected using irrigation solutions to ensure all infection is removed.

Step 5: Filling and Sealing

Once cleaned, the root canals are filled with a rubber-like material called gutta-percha and sealed with adhesive cement to ensure complete closure of the canals.

Step 6: Restoration

After the root canal, a crown or other restoration is usually placed on the tooth to protect it, restore its functionality, and prevent future damage.
